Hotel Principe - 4 star - Located in the historical center of Florence, all 20 rooms have modern comforts of a modern 4 star hotel and are decorated in a way that is in keeping with the traditional style and decoration of the hotel. Some rooms also have terrace overlooking the Arno River.

Hotel Aprile (Palazzo Dal Borgo) - located in the heart of Florence, 30 metres from the church of Santa Maria Novella is a 15th century building, with historic frescoes, high vaulted ceilings and a quiet courtyard garden.  Highly recommended.

Hotel Ville Sull'Arno - 4 star - The Hotel sull'Arno boasts a marvellous position located directly on the right bank of the Arno River next to an antique Florentine Villa, only 10 minutes from the historical center and the many stately monuments of Florence like Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Palace, etc.

Hotel Adler Cavalieri - 4 star -  a 4 star, recently restyled hotel in the heart of the historical centre of Florence. The Hotel  was built on the ruins of an ancient monastery dated back to 1300, right in front of the old Santa Maria Della Scala Hospital, from which the street took its name. Lovely rooms, attentive staff.

Borghese Palace - 4 star - the hotel enjoys an excellent location, in its splendid historic centre, among churches, monuments and historic buildings. The property is housed in the eighteenth-century Borghese Palace, fully renovated and recently opened. The result is a unique atmosphere in which tradition and modernity live perfectly side by side.

Hotel Domus Florentiae - 4 star -situated in the heart of the old city, opposite the central Santa Maria Novella railway station, and just a few steps from the Duomo, the major museums and monuments and the conference centre.  All the rooms have parquet floor and are furnished in a warm and very elegant style.

Hotel Albani - 4 stars - The hotel is an early 20th century Palace, a gem of sober architecture and refined atmosphere.  The attentive guest will notice the gracious details and the Italian flair of the hotel. located on a quiet street within walking distance of Santa Maria Novella train station, Fortezza da Basso, Palazzo dei Congressi and Centro Affari.

Hotel Europa - 4 stars - The Hotel Europa in central Florence is one of the top rated hotels on Trip Advisor and on the New York Time's best hotels list.  The hotel is situated in the heart of historic Florence.   The Santa Maria Novella train station, major shopping areas, restaurants and theatres are nearby.

Hotel Ambasciatori - 4 stars - near railway station - The hotel has guest rooms including 6 junior suites, most with balcony offering historical centre or landscape views. Every room is equipped with high-speed communications technology, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, minibar, safe, hair dryer.
Hotel Hermitage Hotel Hermitage - 3 stars - a cozy 3-star hotel just around the corner from the Uffizi Gallery and Duomo, is in the heart of Florence.  Cozy, well appointed and well furnished.

Hotel Cellai - 3 stars - located in the heart of the historic center of Florence, surrounded by monuments, churches and buildings of extraordinary beauty.  Close to the Accademia Gallery, the Duomo, Baptistry and Mercato Centrale.  Nice rooms, full amenities.

Hotel Orto de Medici - 3 stars - recommended - housed in a nineteenth century building, located in a peaceful area of Florence's city centre, just a few steps away from Piazza del Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and only five minutes away from the Fortezza da Basso.

Hotel Davanzati - 3 star - A great find in Florence this small 21 room hotel is located in a nicely refurbished 14th century palazzo in the heart of old Florence.  This hotel is highly regarded by TripAdvisor and many other hotel rating services and for good reason. 
Hotel Boccaccio - 3 star - Housed in an eighteenth century building, the Boccaccio hotel is situated in the heart of Florence's historic centre and boasts a truly enviable position, between the Arno river and the Santa Maria Novella church.  Only 100 meters away from the central railway station.
Hotel La Fortezza - 3 stars - situated only 50 meters from the Fortezza da Basso exhibition and fair centre, very close to the historical centre of Florence and only 700 meters from the central railway station. The hotel is the ideal place for a business trip or a relaxing vacation.
Hotel De Lanzi - 3 stars - located in the very heart of Florence's historic centre, right next to Piazza Duomo with its magnificent cathedral and baptistery and just minutes from Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. The property features 39 comfortable and brightly-lit rooms.

Hotel Burchianti - 3 star -  wonderfully situated in the historic centre of Florence, halfway between the Santa Maria Novella church and the Duomo cathedral.  The hotel is within minutes of the Uffizi Gallery, the Capelle Medicee chapel, the main museums and the Fortezza da Basso exposition centre.

Hotel Annalena - Superior 3 star - Newly renovated, this small 20 room hotel offers a fabulous location right in the centre of Florence, right across from the magnificent Boboli gardens. The rooms are expansive and many offer fantastic views right over the picturesque Annalena gardens. 

Hotel Bonciani - 3 star - The hotel is a fairly standard 3 star hotel with no surprises. Comfortable, well-appointed, decent restaurant.  It's on our list because it's located in the very historical centre of Florence, close to all main monuments and the Congress Palace Garage service, parking service and very close to the bus line.

Hotel Rapallo - 3 star - The hotel is situated five hundred meters from the main railway station and ten minutes walk from the Duomo and all major attractions. The bedrooms are medium in size, furnished in a traditional and simple style. Some rooms have 'fresco' ceilings and others have particular headboards for the beds.

Hotel Privilege - 3 star - Situated in a XVIII century building along the Arno river, in the heart of Florence's historic centre and across from Santa Croce Square and the hill known as Michelangelo's hill which overlooks the city.  The many delights and pleasures of Florence - cafes, restaurants, galleries and museums are close at hand.

Hotel Giglio - 3 star - located in an historic building on Via Cavour, a popular main street in the center of Florence, only a leisurely walk away from many of the most visited historical sites of Florence like the Florence Cathedral.  Hotel Giglio has recently been completely renovated to offer its guests all the modern comforts in a distinguished atmosphere.
Hotel Aurora - 3 star - situated very near to the station Santa Maria Novella, a little distance far from Palazzo dei Congressi and from Fortezza da Basso and at 600 meters from the Duomo.  Built at the beginning of the 20th century and it is divided into 12 rooms with wide bright windows.  Close to all the major attractions.

Albergo Firenze - 2 star - a great little find for travelers seeking good value.   It is tucked away in the heart of the historical center, Albergo Firenze is located in Piazza Donati just steps off of the main Via del Corso where one can easily reach important monuments like the Florence Dome, Piazza della Signoria, the Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio.

Hotel Annabella - 2 star - Just a 3 minute walk from the train station in central Florence, and a short way from the most important monuments, buildings and galleries, the Hotel Annabella offers great value.

Hotel Medici - 2 star - This hotel's best selling point is its ideal location. It is situated twenty metres from the Duomo, ten meters from Piazza Repubblica, a two minute walk from Ponte Vecchio and a five minute walk from the train station. Dante Alighieri's house is a stone's throw away.

Pensione Ferdinando de Medici - 2 stars - Hotel Ferdinando II de' Medici is situated in the historical heart of Florence, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza Signoria.  A Pensione, the hotel has 11 rooms each with a bathroom, a telephone.  The price includes tax and breakfast.
