Wear a comfortable pair of shoes and discover the city from another point of view! A local Guide, will take you along routes unbeaten by mass tourism among the green of the hill that is closer to the historical centre.

It is a walk in contact with the art, history and nature of Florence enjoying a wonderful and unforgettable view of the city.

It is easy to reach the hill of Piazzale Michelangelo through the picturesque and lively area of S. Niccolò and then look down at the most particular view of the city, with its priceless art heritage, its ancient walls and sweet hills below.
Then climb up to the splendid Basilica of S. Miniato al Monte, (11th century) a jewel of Florentine Romanesque that deserves a look inside.

A monastery and an antique herbal shop are annexed where the monks sell their famous liqueurs.

From the church courtyard, one of the highest observation points, you will enjoy yet another breathtaking view of the city.
Then, through splendid routes in green areas you will reach the Forte di Belvedere, an imposing fortress dating back to end of the sixteenth century adjacent to the ancient walls of the city.

From there, descending a steep and characteristic street flanked by ancient houses, you will reach the historical centre of the city again and this magnificent tour ends at Ponte Vecchio.
