Transportation services

  • Shuttle services - a less expensive public service for 1-8 people - passengers include all passengers who have pre-booked.  Online booking only.  Pick-up at your point of arrival, drop-off at designated drop points.  Drivers will not wait more than 30 minutes.
  • Transfer services - private transfers - private car - private driver.  Pick-up and drop-off is point to point based on passenger requirements.  Drivers will wait subject to wait time penalties.
  • Custom transfers - VisitsItaly can also arrange custom transfers for groups of more than 8 passengers.

Policy

  • All vehicles are air-conditioned

  • All drivers are professionally trained and licensed

  • Prices are based on passengers having one carry on bag and one suitcase

  • Prices are based on transport of able-bodied persons

Additional costs:

  • Waiting over 30 minutes - 40 Euro for each 30 minutes (or less) of wait time.

  • Unscheduled stops - discretion of driver - local payment

  • Assisting disabled persons - discretion of driver - local payment

  • Certain hotels in Venice - supplement of 25 Euro

  • Additional fees can apply to carry more than one suitcase and one carry-on bag.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Un-confirmed reservations are deleted at end of 7 days or upon arrival of service date which ever is soonest.

  • Confirmed and paid for reservations can be cancelled at any time up to 24 hours before the pick up date and time.

  • No refunds are paid if a cancellation is not made within the allowed time.

  • A 15 Euro service fee applies to all refunds.

  • Refunds will be applied to the credit card used for the payment unless another payment form is specifically requested in writing.
