Come and discover the Island of Ischia and Procida on your Green Isle Cruise. Enjoy swimming and sunbathing in a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. Admire the breathtaking views that the Island of Ishia – renowned throughout Europe for its thermal baths and fertile sail – has to offer. While cruising round the Isle of Ischia you will most certainly be taken aback by the peculiarly shaped rock at the port of Lacco Ameno, known to the locals as the Fungo which means mushroom. At St. Angelo in Ischia you will be offered the chance to take a small boat to the shore for a wander around the shops. The cost of the boat is an optional extra and should be paid on board. If you prefer not to go ashore, and then just remain on board the Marine Club and soak up the sunshine. Then as a complete contrast is the lazy, relaxed Island of Procida primarily a fishing village but is more famous for it’s prison which used to house prisoners serving life sentences! Lunch can be bought on board payable direct to the crew or you can bring your own picnic lunch. A super-relaxing day in which to top up your tan. Remember to take your swimming costumes and towels, and don’t forget your camera! |
