The Hotel Il Barocco has been developed by the Cabibbo brothers who have many years experience as restaurateurs. The hotel was constructed out of a building dating to the end of the eighteenth century which had been in use as a carpenter’s workshop and has much of the flavour and feel of traditional Sicilian architecture.
The brothers have gone to great pains to create a comfortable, clean and quiet place to stay in central Ragusa, so guests are in the right place to explore this old and fascinating city.
The restaurant in a nearby building that is easily accessible to all of the hotel guests, features a menu featuring traditional Sicilian cuisine and wines - most of it drawn from the Cabibbo family's traditional cooking, but updated and improvised by the brothers. |
