Al Gabbiano is on the main street of Scoglitti, just a few metres from the town square, banks, post office, accident and emergency services, tourist and fishing port and just a few kilometres from the archaeological and museum area of Kamarina and Castello di Donnafugata. The property extends down to the sea shore.
The air conditioned rooms are bright, well furnished and comfortable, the lounges and other common areas inviting. The best thing about the hotel, however, is its location on the beach which offers continuous recreation and the cooling effect of the sea breezes.
The Al Gabbiano restuarant is a typical Mediterranean restaurant, specialising in fish dishes and local produce. The restaurant uses fish from Scoglitti’s fleet of fishing boats, which go out to sea each day and return with fresh fish such as bass, cuttlefish, calamari, prawns, aiola, groper, cod, tuna and swordfish.
