the town which
is a good
starting point
for visiting the
famous Villas,
gardens and
quaint towns and
villages along
the lake. The
owner of the
property, who
lives in the
house also
offers
sight-seeing
boat trips.
Both apartments
have a
comfortable
lounge /kitchen
area, with lake
views, (The
garden is shared
with the owners)
who are very
happy to have
guests staying
in their house.
The kitchen is
fully equipped
and the rental
includes all
linens.
Ossuccio may not
be very well
known, what a
shame, it is a
beautiful
peaceful town on
the western
shore of the
lake, it
neighbours with
Lenno, where the
Italian national
trust have their
'star' property,
Villa
Balbianello (ask
me about tours),
the Villa
Carlotta in
tremezzo is a 2
minutes drive
away.
The village
centre is 5
minutes on foot
and every
Tuesday there is
an excellent
market which
sells
EVERYTHING!! You
will find all
shops, banks,
post office, and
petrol station
in Lenno. From
Lenno, which is
about 5 minutes
walk, all the
lake ferries
stop, allowing
you to move very
easily on the
lake, meaning
that Bellagio is
about 20 minutes
boat ride away.
The Casa del

minute drive
away from
Cernobbio, the
world famous
hotel Villa
D'este and the
famous Villa
Erba, where many
exhibitions and
trade fairs are
held, the City
of Como is a 30
minute drive
away and of
course Como is
the silk capital
of Italy, so

factory outlets
and shops in the
town of Como.
Milan is 50 kms,
1 hour’s drive,
so it is also
ideal for
combining a
holiday with the
world famous
'Monza Grand
Prix', or any
other sporting
or business
events which you
may wish to
attend in Milan.

from the Heinz
family by George
Clooney, and
George has been
spotted in
Argegno often
mixing with the
local people.

also well served
by the

train service.
