This modest
apartment in
Cefalu is great
for hanging-out
in one of
Sicily's most
interesting and
picturesque
seaside towns.
Nothing fancy,
but it is bright
and sunny (don't
rely on these
pictures),
clean,
comfortable and,
most
importantly,
right on the
shore. The
apartment is on
the first floor
of the building
so above street
level by about
10 steps.
It is what the
Italians call a
"monolocale" - a
big room with a
bed nook,
kitchen corner
and lounge area.
The bathroom is
separate of
course.
There is also a
divan bed
suitable for
another person.
Just 20 meters
from the water's
edge and on the
main street
where you will
find all the
shops,
restaurants and
cafes, you can
come and go as
you wish, to
explore the
town, or if you
have a car, the
rest of Sicily.
The train
station is close
by for daily
excursions to
Palermo and
other Sicilian
destinations.
There is a small
swimming beach
just below the
apartment, but
Cefalu's large
beach with Lidos
and public
swimming area is
only 200 meters
away.
The apartment is
