The exclusive hotel Majestic, which dates back to 1889, is located in one of Rome's most beautiful historical buildings, Villa Ludovisi, on exclusive Via Veneto, in the heart of Rome.
The building, designed by the leading architect of the time, Gaetano Koch, reached the peak of its fame in the roaring 20's when celebrities invariably chose Via Veneto for their Roman stays.The structure features 98 finely-decorated rooms and suites, each equipped with individually-controlled air conditioning, satellite and pay TV, video recorder, direct dial telephone, electronic safety deposit box, mini bar and writing desk. The hotel, which continues to host some of the worlds most notable celebrities, is a veritable jewel of neoclassic elegance. It was designed and constructed in the shape of a piano to cleverly accommodate a bend in the Via Veneto.
