This lovely farmhouse surveys a panoramic landscape, looking out over the valley of Old Father Tiber. It is a classically solid stone construction with thick walls that make for a cool interior in summer and a warm cosy feel at other times of year. It is two and a half kilometers from the main road so there is an atmosphere of complete solitude and serenity with only the sounds of nature to disturb the rural tranquility.

Location
The owner has created a tasteful environment. Inside, the design, fixtures and fittings are of a high quality. The furnished dining area outside also enjoys fine views. A separate cottage for 2 people, next to the main house, is rented out by the owners. Trestina is just over 8 kilometers away for all essential shopping and these is a public swimming pool in Citta di Castello within 15 kilometers. Also in Citta di Castello’s fine medieval centre, every Thursday and Saturday, is a wonderfully colourful noisy market, great for fresh fruit and vegetables and much more besides. Lake Trasimeno, with its good beaches and water sports, can be reached in a one hour drive through magnificent countryside. This lake has a maximum depth of 7 mtrs.; its circumference is 45 kms and is surrounded by gentle, rolling hills. Perugia, Assisi and a host of other historical sites are within a reasonable driving distance.

Outside stone steps lead to the entrance which is into the sitting/dining room with open fireplace. Kitchen has cooker, oven and fridge. Two double bedded rooms, one with adjoining room with single, convertible sofa bed. Shower room with WC etc.
