This terrific B&B is one of the most nicely placed B&Bs in Umbria and offers a variety of comfortable and well-furnished rooms and small cottages.Castiglione del Lago on the shores of Lago Trasimeno is a walled medieval town that played an important historical role for centuries. Il Torrione - the tower - occupies one of the corner towers of these impressive walls. Indeed, the cottages and rooms face onto a large flower garden built into the tower itself. Guests can spend a quiet moment here, or take to the parapets to enjoy the spectacular views over the lake.
There are individual double and twin rooms, all en suite, and two fully-self catering cottages.
