The hotel San Ruffino is a wonderful little hotel in the centre of Assisi, in a great location, only 80 meters from the San Rufino Cathedral and near to the main city square, the Piazza del Comune, as well as to the Piazza Matteotti parking lot, the San Rufino Hotel stands where there was once a group of medieval houses, now entirely restructured.
Its smaller, sister hotel, "Il Duomo” (The Cathedral), adjacent to the principle structure, is on the San Lorenzo stairway which leads to the Rocca Maggiore (the Great Castle).
This establishment is one of the finest in Assisi, and is as charming as it is characteristic. The family-run staff will welcome you and is always here to help you during your stay.The San Rufino Hotel has 11 double rooms, all of which have private baths, direct phone lines, and TVs. The rooms are very spacious, bright and well-appointed.
Its smaller, sister hotel, “Il Duomo,” adjacent to the main building, houses 9 more rooms, 6 of which have private baths. Two rooms share a bath and there is also a mini-apartment with a private bath and kitchen area. This rooms are smaller than standard rooms and don’t have direct ‘phone lines, and t.v.s.
The furnishings are both charming and functional and make it possible for guests to have a both pleasant and peaceful stay in the heart of Assisi, in an atmosphere untouched by time.
