The Castel d'Arno is located in the rolling countryside near Valfabbrica, which is close to the religious center of Assisi, and the cultural center of Perugia.  Other famous Umbrian towns and cities, like Gubbio, Spello, Montefalco and Spoleto are an easy drive away.

The owners, Signor Sergio Demofonte and his wife,  have created 5 wonderful self-contained apartments in a small medieval castle that they have been painstakingly restoring.

With great views of the Umbrian countryside, the Castel d'Arno invites guests to enjoy the estate's terraces and gardens, and starting in 2007, a swimming pool and deck.

The Castel d'Arno is a great place to use as a base for excursions, or for walking, hiking, trekking, mountain biking and other outdoor recreation.

• BREAKFAST-ROOM
  On request it’s possibile to have rich breakfast (euro 6,50 for person/per-day), with home made cakes and jams.

• FIREPLACE ROOM AND LITTLE TAVERN
  Common spaces for our guests where it’s possibile to have good time in front of a big fireplace, playing cards or to have lunch or dinner with friends.

• FIREWOOD FURNACE - BBQ
  Who wants to make “pizza”, can use a magnificent firewood furnace situated in our characteristic courtyard. Who prefers BBQ, we have a big one in the garden.

• LAUNDRY-ROOM
  For our guests there is a room with two washing-machines (free use).

• SWIMMING-POOL
  We have a panoramic swimming-pool, mt. 5x11, located in the garden between olives trees; it was inaugurated in the summer 2007 and only for our guests.
