| Description |
Acquaghiaccia is a unique combination of medieval and modern, located in one of the most historical areas of Umbria, in a rural area along the route of the ancient Roman Road, the Via Flaminia.
The country house is positioned at the center of a small green valley and is part of an estate called “Le Grotte” set within the 20 hectares of forests that surrounds it. It has its own natural spring from which the Acquaghiaccia Guest House takes its name.
The beautiful, natural setting of Acquaghiaccia, the olive trees and surrounding chestnut forests, rich of mushrooms, asparagus and wildlife, makes this a wonderful place to visit in any season.
The restaurant offers local traditional cuisine, using the finest natural products, from flour to olive oil supplied by local farmers, while the organic vegetables are home grown. In keeping with a focus on natural and healthy meals, our water comes from the Aquaghiaccia spring on the property, from which the country house takes its name.
A 50 sq metre room with air conditioning and air purification system is available for meetings, courses and banquets.
