Villa Marchese in Cavriglia was built in
the 19th century as the
summer residence of an
aristocratic family.
It is a detached
house in its own grounds
that can accommodate up
to 10 people.
The Villa was originally
called "Fattoria
Monastero" as its
vineyards, which
produced excellent
Chianti wines, stretched
as far as the Cavriglia
Monastery.
The house has the
elegance and charm of
the period and some of
the rooms still retain
the original frescos. It
is pleasantly furnished
with country style
furniture of the period.
The residence
is surrounded by 4.057
sq. m. of secluded
garden. It is very close
to the Cavriglia Natural
Park and well placed to
reach Siena (minute 35),
Florence (minute 30) and
Arezzo (minute 30).
