Set in a surprisingly quiet and tranquil area, the Villa offers one of those rare "finds" to people traveling to Florence. The owners, a brother and sister Antonio and Giusy, live on the premises and offer warm and discreet service to their guests.
Villa La Sosta is surrounded by large gardens with cypress and fruit trees; the building itself is elegant and sober, enriched by architectural elements recalling the eclectic style of the beginning of the 1900s, like the main bow-window entrance and the tower-mansard which gives a view of the surrounding hillside.
Visitors can enjoy daily excursions into the great city of Florence, or they can take the via Bolognese in the opposite direction, up the Pellegrino Hill and then into the verdant Tuscan countryside.
