Villa "La Contessa" is a must for an unforgettable stay in the heart of Tuscany. Located 35 kms south of Siena in the "Crete", the building dates back to the XVIIth century. It was probably used as a stop over for travelers on their way to Montalceto ( a nearby hot spring).

Villa La Comtessa is perched on a hill overlooking the countryside and the towns of Siena, Montalcino and Mount Amiata. Still owned by descendants of the original nobelity, this magnificent Villa has been under renovation from 1995 to 2000 and is now available for rent. It's characterized by open beamed ceilings, frescoes and is furnished with fine collectible antiques.Your large party will not only be able to enjoy the beautiful and comfortable interior, but also fine gardens and a very large swimming pool with plenty of outdoor furniture. The Villa is part of a huge working farm famous for rare white truffles and extra virgin olive oil.

Villa Contessa is in a perfect location for seeing all of Tuscany. The wines regions of Chianti, Brunello and Nobile are only a half hour drive, and the sea is within 130kms.  Cooking classes can be organized upon request. Please ask us for details.

This magnificent Villa has 8 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms sleeping a total of 16 people. It features a large dining room, a living room with fireplace and a reading room.The spacious grounds invite you to enjoy the views while entertaining outdoors as well.

In addition to the Villa, you can rent a nearby barnn that has been completely restored and made into an apartment with two bedrooms, baths ensuite, jacuzzi, a living room with fire place, a kitchen and a dining area.

The Villa plus the apartment can sleep up to 20 people. The apartment can be rented in addition to the Villa, but not seperately. Please note that the price is based on an occupancy of 16 people in the Villa only. Bring your friends or family for a stay of a lifetime!
