Residence Il Casale is an enchanting residence created in an antique sixteenth century building on a rural estate in the hamlet of San Pietro a Cegliolo within the township of Cortona, just 3 km distance from this ancient Etruscan town, an oasis of peace set among the fascinating Tuscan hills.

The typical brickwork, the original sloping roof tiles and the winding external staircase are witnesses to the history of this completely restored and refurbished holiday villa.

The Residence features an elegant garden featuring an English-style lawn where guests can walk, relax and, in clement weather, enjoy a continental breakfast, lunch or dinner.  Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool while gazing upward toward Cortona's bell towers, churches and imposing protective walls.

Residence Il Casale has 10 unique apartments 8 of which have three-rooms accommodating 4 people (with two bedrooms), with one three-room for 3 people and one two-room apartment each sleeping two people comfortably.  Additional beds can be arranged on request.

All the apartments are furnished with particular care, featuring beds from the 1700s and 1800s, carpets and antique prints, and large period wardrobes, all of which contribute to creating a harmonic relationship with the wood beamed ceilings and old terracotta tiled floors.  Light-filled and airy due to the large windows, the apartments are equipped with all conveniences: satellite TV, air conditioning, central heating and direct line phone.

Naturally, every apartment has its own external area, equipped with a garden table and chairs, where breakfast or other meals can be eaten surrounded by the greenery of the park, which is at our guests’ complete disposal.
