Hotel 'La Luna' is situated in two buildings on a cul de sac in the historic centre of ancient Lucca, facing the Via Fillungo, the famous 'Pedestrian Street', the most sophisticated and exclusive street in this fascinating city. Close by are the medieval era houses that follow the curve of the very much older Roman amphitheater.
The room furnishings haven't been updated for some time - evoking the feeling of an 80s style hotel. The second floor rooms are graced with frescoes; there is a lovely family "quad" room on the same floor. The bathrooms tend to be small, but the bath linens are fluffy and have a luxe feeling.
The hotel offers a warm and comfortable atmosphere in order to make the guests stay pleasant and relaxing. The owners keep the place clean and well maintained.
Thanks to its excellent position, it is possible to reach easily the most beautiful historic monuments of the town.
