Casa Arturo is located in a quite village close to an historical castle where every year at the beginning of September, there is a cooking contest.  All the families of the village bring a dish prepared according to the old recipes of mothers, grand mothers and local tradition, it is always a great success and fun to witness this festival.

Casa Arturo is a lovely country house, originally a farmhouse of a big estate no longer existing, on the front of the building there still is the coat of arm in stone of the noble family who owned the place in the old days. The farmhouse has been fully restored and offers all the modern comfort and the owner took great care in maintaining the old atmosphere and charm of the farmhouse. The owners has put together a nice collection of decorating objects like iron farming tools, terracotta pots and jugs, hand-woven fabrics that you can find all over the house-all the rooms are decorated with coloured fabrics and old country pieces of furniture.

The atmosphere is warm and cosy, a large stone Tuscan fire place makes you even warmer in the cold days. In the house there is a great choice of decorative table ware as the owner loves a lot to entertain and decorate the table according to the colours of the season. All the ground floor rooms open onto the outside garden. The space outside is vast and very well kept, with abundance of flowers, fruits trees, olive trees and vineyards. It is easy to find a lovely shadowy corner to relax. In the garden there is BBQ, wood oven and dining area with big table. For tennis lover there is a tennis court, children have their equipped play ground in a shadowy area.

Paved road and few meters of gravelled road leads you up to the farmhouse. The care taker of the house is a good cook of typical country Tuscan cusine, on request he can prepare very good meals.

Ground Floor:
Entrance, living room with large Tuscan fireplace, satellite TV, CD player, dining room opening onto the garden via French door- (table sitting 14 people). Fully equipped kitchen (frigo, frezeer, microwave, gas cooker) opening onto the outside loggia-dining area. Equipped with ceiling fan, 1 closet, one WC, and washing machine. The windows are equipped with screens.

First Floor:
2 queen size bedrooms (convertible into Twin)
1 twin bedroom (convertible into a double)
1 twin bedroom
1 bathroom with tub and shower, 1 bathroom with shower.

Garden:
Very large property completely closed, 50.000 Sq.Mts, BBQ, large dining outside area close to the pool. Children playground equipped with children big toys.
