General
A blue sea
stretching away
seemingly into
infinity, two hilly
headlands, one each
side of us, that
book-end an 8
kilometer strip of
golden sand. A
well-spread town,
orange terracotta
roofs interspersed
with lots of dark
green, mostly pines
and palms, spread
out below us - this
is the magnificent
view that guests
will enjoy from
Apartment Contessa.
Located high above
Costa Rei, this
apartment is one
of four that makes
up the house.
However our
apartment is the
only one that sports
a well-kept garden
and covered terrace
for al fresco
breakfasts, lunches,
dinners or just
plain relaxation -
they’ll all be
framed by that view.
Location
For interesting
excursions inland,
apart from exploring
the countryside’s
sheer wealth of
flora and fauna,
guests could head in
the direction of the
area’s main town of
Castiadas. Here is
the start of the
enormous Sarrabus
range, carpeted
mostly by a series
of oak forests, and
last refuge of the
Sardinian deer. The
apartment’s garden
is furnished and
there is a small
lawn bordered by
shrubs and colourful
bushes. Because our
apartment is located
up high, the sea,
while only 350
meters away, is best
reached by car.
