In Roman times, Cefalicchio was an important passageway through the countryside of Canosa by way of Via Traiana; the farmhouse was constructed in 1700 and at the end of 1800 the Rossi family transformed it into their private residence.
Hilly hilly vistas encompass approximately 80 hectares of olive trees and grape vines that create a typically Mediterranean feel; wine and olive oil are biodynamic certified since 1992 and are processed in the cellar located on the estate.
The site is comprised of the Restaurant, the SPA and the Cefalicchio Country House, a 4-star hotel that welcomes guests into an atmosphere that is at once both warm and friendly, informal and refined.

Cefalicchio offers a tonifying wine therapy treatment, perfect for stimulating the circulation and detoxifying the skin, with a relaxing effect on the whole body. The secret of wine therapy is polyphenol, a substance contained in grapes, obtained through fermentation and therefore passed on into the wine.
