This gorgeous farm is situated half-way between Sant’Evasio Hill, on the side where the sun sets, and the Nizza-Canelli road. The farmstead originally belonged to the Counts of Calamandrana, then to the Veggi of Castelletto. The farm was registered as Romana even in the oldest records of the area.
The farm is situated near characteristic places, such as Santo Stefano Belbo, Cesare Pavese’s hometown; Canelli, the city of wine; Acqui Terme, well-know for its hot springs; and big cities, such as Alba, well-know for the white truffles, and Asti, city of the Palio (horse races). At the farm you will find it easy to put urban chaos behind you as you become immersed in the the unpolluted green fields, vines, orchards and forests of the farm.
Tenuta la Romana offers its guests 20 rooms—either rooms or small apartments—distributed on two floors. All of them are very comfortable, and all the services are of a high level. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace on a garden. All rooms have telephone and internet, satellite TV, and hairdryer.
The Tenuta La Romana also features a private Swimming pool with park, Park you play, Areas greens, a small pond, a pioppeto, vineyards and parking for cars and buses.
