A
small lakeside house, it has a
truly wonderful setting with the
nearby town of Ossuccio to our
left and the tiny island of
Isola Comacina dead ahead. And
all framed by dramatic high
mountains.
The
house is divided into two: the
upper floor is occupied by the
owner and the lower floors are
for our guests, who can also
explore this section of Lake
Como at will with the unlimited
free use of the owner’s rowing
boat.
Location
The town of Ossuccio, where
there are shops, banks and
chemists, is within walking
distance, though this is along a
main road. A more tranquil walk
is to the village of Sala
Comacina 300 metres away, along
scenic lakeside paths. The beach
that fronts the house is for
public use, as are
all waterfronts in Italy.
