Hotel Ville Montefiori first opened forty years
ago as a guest house under the name of Pensione
Montefiori. It was bought in the seventies by
Franca Giacomini, the current owner, who
remodeled gorgeous Liberty-style villas. She
immediately bought several acres of land and
built 2 swimming pools to upgrade property
value. The guest house became a three-star hotel
and later graduated to 4-star status. Thanks to
Mrs. Giacomini’s tasteful decorating flair,
gardening skills, business savvy, and dedicated
work ethic, Hotel Ville Montefiori gradually
expanded and improved. What makes the family-run
Hotel Ville Montefiori so special is its
pleasant atmosphere and personalized touch.
The hotel complex composed of three splendid
Liberty-style villas plus a more recent building
and a 15th century tower is in a gorgeous
location, surrounded by a huge garden with olive
trees, palm trees, and all sorts of trees and
plants. The villas have an enchanting view of
the beautiful lake and spacious terraces that
open onto gardens full of fragrant flowers.
Everything is bathed in a pleasant atmosphere of
