The Palazzo Dolci is a 4 star hotel offering 88 rooms equipped with all the usual amenities. The Hotel is located in the city centre of Bergamo Basso (40 km far from Milan) opposite the "Papa Giovanni Congress Center" and near the "Donizetti Theatre", 300 meters from the railway station. The bus station with direct services to Bergamo airport is next to hotel. The Mercure hotel features a bar and facilities for disabled people. The hotel is located in the fully restored and reconstructed Palazzo Dolci, built in 1879. Some guests have said its modern style is a bit souless in the modern way, but others praise it for its convenient location and warm hospitality. Perhaps after a hundred more years pass, a patina of "old Italy" will descend upon it.
