Villa Tigullio is an elegant villa perched on the hillside of Rapallo overlooking one of the most prestigious and attractive areas of the Italian Riviera. The Gulf of Tigullio includes the most famous Italian fisherman’s village of Portofino and continues as far south as Sestri Levante. The entire coast has rich vegetation, beautiful antique villas, and many hidden alcoves to slowly discover. The villa itself offers many important art pieces and antique religious icons that the owners have collected throughout the years.

From the garden area there is a marble staircase (6 steps) leading to the main entrance of Villa Tigullio. The ground floor of the villa consists of a very large living room and dining room on the left and a kitchen to the right. The living room has a fireplace and has been tastefully furnished with two comfortable couches, a few arm chairs, and a flat screen television.

The living room leads out to a solarium with antique, stain-glassed windows and a beautiful sea view. The dining room has a table that seats up to 10 people and museum worthy art pieces to admire while dining. The kitchen is to the right of the entrance and has a smaller dining table perfect for breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, oven, and a gas stove top. On the ground floor there is also a small guest bathroom with a WC and a sink.

The second floor of the villa consists of five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a small study with a sea view. All of the rooms have king size beds and are just off of a central square shaped corridor with the stairwell in the middle. Two of the beds can also be seperated and made into twins. Two of the bedrooms have large terraces with wonderful sea views and one has a balcony. Two of the bathrooms have bathtubs and one has a shower.

The villa is within walking distance to the sea promenade. Rapallo is one of the best towns in terms of shopping and restaurants and has much to offer including a wonderful golf and tennis club less than a mile from the villa. Santa Margherita and Portofino are both the perfect combination of old town charm and upscale lifestyle.
