The Hotel Posta is located right in the historic centre of Reggio Emilia overlooking the Prampolini Square.

The Hotel Posta is housed in the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, a Medieval building that has been a hotel for over five centuries. In 1200, it was the residence of the Capitano del Popolo, in 1400 the residence of Sigismondo d'Este; it became an inn called Locanda del Cappello Rosso in 1515.

The property boasts comfortable and elegant guestrooms, functional banqueting, meeting and conference rooms, a fitness room and a welcoming bar.

Hotel Posta is just a few meters from the Cathedral and the Town Hall (with its three-coloured room where the Italian flag was born in 1797), San Prospero and Ghiara churches, shops, restaurants, business offices and banks.

A rich breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 7.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on bank holidays.  Breakfast can be served directly in your room, on request.
