The Toscana Opera Festival is an authentic “summer regional lyrical circuit” very unique for his genre. It is considered the most important “Itinerating Festival of lyrical productions” in Italy for the high number of cities hosting the festival as well as for the historic, tourist and cultural importance that characterize these towns.

Founded by IKO Italia Konzert Opera in 1997, The Festival proposes “open air” concerts in artistic and beautiful cities, realized with staging set up to bring out even more the beauty these suggestive locations as historic squares, amphitheaters, parks,  etc. that make of Italy a country like no one else.

From his starting date, beside an always increasing number of spectators and attention by the mass media, the Festival has also encountered an increasing interest by the Public administrations and institutions, with a consequent increase in the number of representations in many Italian cities.
