The
Galleries of the Accademia in Venice are
one of the most important collection of
Venetian paintings from the XIV to the
XVIII centuries. Here masterpieces of
artists such as Bellini, Giorgione,
Carpaccio, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Veronese
and Tiepolo are preserved.
On the
second floor of the Galleries, the long
hallway of the Palladian convent
collects the most important operas
usually preserved in the museum
warehouse. This area is called the
Quadreria (visitable
Saturday and Sunday – reservation is
required).

The
ticket office closes 30 minutes before
the museum.
The
museum is closed on January 1st,
May 1st and December 25th
