Placed in St. Miceli countryside, a little bit to the of bottom of the old national road. It is an ancient Byzantine Church of the XI-XII century, to cross Greek with cylindrical dome and lengthened to the center of the cross. The apse, that it completes the heading of the cross, it carried signs of continuous rehashes, in contrast with the other structures. In succession to a restauration it is reappeared in his original form. In the Church could be admired an ancient font baptismal adorned of crosses gemmates.

It is a Church that is crossed with the hang over Church of the Carmine, from which we approaches a staircase of the portico through. The interns of the crypt is type cathedral, with presbytery and decorated apse from a cycle of frescos partly of slow-antica-Byzantine age, partly of icons Benedectine of the XIV century and XV. The frescos of the apse till now they constitute the most ancient testimony of the Christian painting in Calabria because they go up again to the IX and X century.
