It is situated within walking distance of Montefollonico, a quaint, tiny village close to the famous wine town of Montepulciano. Montefollonico is a tranquil place, famous in the area for its excellent restaurants which attract clients from far and wide.

Villa Fornillo enviable location makes it the perfect base from which to explore Tuscany, the towns of Pienza, Monticchiello, Montalcino, as well as Montepulciano, are just a short drive away.

After a long day of sight-seeing the villa's well-tended garden makes the perfect place to relax with a glass of the area's famous wine. There is a veranda with a table for up to 8 guests, a porch between the house and the annex with a table for 6, a wood burning oven for making traditional pizza and a barbecue. There is also parking space for up to 4 cars.

The swimming pool, complete with stunning views, is equipped with sun-beds, umbrellas and a nearby bathroom for the maximum comfort while basking in the Tuscan sunshine.

Villa Fornillo is composed of a main building and two seperate annexes making it ideal for a group wishing to have some privacy. The elegant decoration of the villa is apparent from the moment you enter the villa. The warm, pastel coloured walls and carefully chosen antiques contribute to the warm, homely atmosphere.

The ground floor is composed of a fully equipped kitchen, a small storage room with an old stone sink, a pantry room with a double door fridge, a dining room which opens directly onto the veranda, a huge living room with sofas and a gaming-table and an additional sitting room with leather couches and a stone fireplace. There is also a studio/double bedroom with ensuite facilities.

On the first floor there is the master bedroom with double Louis Philippe bed, a twin bedroom and another bedroom with bunk-beds. All bedrooms are very light and airy and are complete with ensuite bathrooms.

The first annex is a small house with a four poster double bed, baby bed, kitchen and bathroom.  The second annex consists of a single bedroom which opens into the laundry room complete with washing machine and dryer. there is also a bathroom. This is ideal for staff.
