Relais Villa Baldelli is a real discovery for travelers to Italy. It is immersed in the peace and quiet of the Tuscan countryside but close to the ancient city of Cortona whose rooftops, belfries and towers can be see a short way in the distance.
The villa has 15 rooms of which 5 are junior suites, 5 are deluxe rooms and 5 are classic rooms. The ground floor hall is particularly charming with its decoration made out of segments of seventeenth-century altars. From the hall you can enter the villa's lounge, furnished with comfortable sofas and a variety of well turned tables. There is also a small bar and breakfast room on the ground floor, in which the antique stone fireplace makes a fine setting representing the history of the villa.
The furniture and the four-poster beds in most rooms are also vintage. But the bathroom furnishings and fittings are as modern as they are elegant.
For leisure time activities outside the villa, the guests have an 18 x 9 meters pool, a golf course and footpaths for walking, horseback riding and mountain biking, at their disposal. Our guests can also avail themselves of a computer with a high speed Internet connection, or can access the NET with their own laptop if it is equipped for the Relais' wireless connection.
The proximity to the town of Cortona and other nearby the villages allow the guest of the Relais Villa Baldelli to visit places of particular historical and artistic importance. Major Italian art cities like Florence (85 Km), Siena (70), Arezzo (20), Perugia (55) are close at hand.
Very near the Relais Villa Baldelli there is a riding school where guests can ride through the woods up to Monte S. Egidio or across the valley to Lago Trasimeno. Other recreational activities from golf to bird watching can be arranged.
