Hotel Casolare le Terre Rosse, just a couple of kilometers from the walls of San Gimignano, is a small village unto itself, sitting in a large park-like setting where one can stretch one's legs, take the sun, relax under the shade of umbrellas, and gain a sense of ease.

Near the Hotel one can see remnant of the via Francigena, the ancient highway that took armies, merchants and pilgrims from France to Rome.
