This lovely little hotel, with just 37 rooms, is housed in a wonderfully restored and refurbished 15th century convent, complete with cloisters and extremely well-tended gardens. A few steps down from the terraces is a sunlit pool where one can swim, linger with a book, or take the sun. The hotel offers fabulous views over the Val d'Orcia and gives guests easy access to the historical center of Pienza, a UNESCO World heritage site. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and comfortable with all the amenities that modern travelers demand.
There is a stylish bar and restaurant inside, but guests can also dine out of doors immersed in the scent of flowers and linden trees. Guests can also relax in the flower-bedecked cloisters - ancient haunt of the sisters who once called the convent home.
