General
These are two delightful
stone cottages, very private
and independent of each
other, and sharing the same
gorgeous swimming pool. Set
on a terraced hillside,
overlooking the Ionian Sea,
they are bare stone built,
and characteristically laid
out, with spacious outside
areas. Behind us is the omni-present
majesty of Mount Etna.
The owners are generous and
very friendly. They keep
chickens, geese, a donkey
and two horse, and guests
are welcome to help
themselves to fresh eggs
every morning – imagine the
taste
Location
Betulla is higher up the
hillside and overlooks the
lovely furnished swimming
pool measuring 13m x 5m.
Pioppo is lower down the
hillside. Between the two
the private parking area.
The two small villages of
Presa & Puntalazzo are
approximately 2km and 3km
away for first necessity
shopping.
Ground Floor:
Air-conditioned
sitting/dining.
Kitchen corner with oven,
gas stove and
fridge/freezer.
Shower room, WC etc. and
with washing machine.
One double bedded room.
There is a cot
Charge of 50 Euro per week.
Late arrivals after
20.00 are charged at 50
Euro.
